Robbie was by
a strong working cattle dog called Vic out of a bitch called Fly.
John has been friends with
Hubert Fouracre for many years. Hubert wanted
John to go and see a particular litter that he had. There
in the middle of a pile of puppies was a red and white dog.
In all the years that Hubert
has been breeding dogs Robbie is the only red and white he’s bred. John had a litter of his own at the time so a deal
was done and Hubert and John swapped puppies.
Robbie died in his sleep in
June 1995 following a short illness - he was 15 years old.
This wonderful dog has a lot to answer for. He
is in the pedigrees of many good dogs. |
